Home again
Petunia Dolce Flambe
I have decided that I like it after all
Came home to a garden gone crazy. Weeds were even worse. I hilled potatoes, cleared a lot of amaranth and lambsquarters out of the hot peppers and picked a bunch of over-sized zucchini.
Froze the latter today after I finished paying the bills. Ended up with four nice gallon bags full. Lots of soup this winter I hope. Can't wait for the sweet corn (if it makes it-we planted pretty late).
Rainbow carrots are coming along good too. I really should plant more of them!

Thanks, Jenn, some of them are prettier than others. This bunch is the best.
I've been peeking around your blogs today. The pictures are great. My father's uncles were dairy farmers in the southern tier and I always thought it great fun to visit them on summer Sunday afternoons. I loved all the sights and smells. Now I miss those days.
Martha, thanks for visiting!
I too enjoyed visiting the farm when I was a kid and my favorite aunt married a farmer....I couldn't believe I got to grow up and marry my own farmer a few years later. lol
Sooo beautiful! Your photos are great!
Thank you, Gerri, and thanks for visiting
