Saturday April 11, 1874

From the diary of Charles Thurwood, farmer, Fort Plain, NY

Snowy and stormy, but not very cold. It snowed and stormed from the south and I done nothing but the choures and our old cat got five young kitens and we got 5 pales of sap and 26 eggs and at night it got cold and stormy.
