*Chives are up and thriving*

April is nearly over and it is still very cold and wet. Far too muddy to plant anything in the ground although I have started half-barrels of lettuce and rainbow carrots. The men started field work, but the rain shut them down. Rain across the midwest has suspended planting there as well, promising high prices for grains this fall if it doesn't change and soon.
